Botany Bay boatyard is conveniently situated on the picturesque Lancashire branch of the Leeds & Liverpool canal just two minutes from junction 8 of the M61. We offer a full range of quality services to boaters from our canal side location.

Those owners who wish to carry out necessary repairs, services, structural alterations and or overhauls can avail themselves of our hardstanding, which is well supplied with more than adequate power supplies.

Narrow Boat Charges

  • Up to 50 Foot 200 pound for the first lift .Then 100 pound for second lift
  • Over 50 Foot 250 pound for the first lift .Then 150 pound for second lift
Wide Beam Charges ( Upto 10 foot in width )
  • Up to 54 Foot 560 pound for the first lift .Then 290 pound for second lift
  • Over 54 Foot 650 pound for the first lift .Then 350 pound for second lift

Wide Beam Charges (Upto 12 foot in width)

  • Up to 50 Foot 1150 pound for the first lift .Then 750 pound for second lift

Hardstanding
 
We have also a large level area suitable for placing of narrow boats and wide beams for those owners who wish to carry out necessary repairs, services, structural alterations and or overhauls can avail themselves of our hard standing facility. The storage of canal boats both short or long term stays are most welcome. .

Widebeam boat 38.50 pounds per week
